Hey Guys, it’s nearly been a month since my last entry. SHAME ON ME! See this is what happened, about a week and a half after mys last entry I was going to update. Though some bullshit came up and I got busy. One that blew over I was going to update, but then I got sick. The kind of sick that’s so painful you wished you were stabbed or shot just so you could go to the hospital. Okay, technically I could have but I didn’t want a huge ass bill…I don’t have insurance. Anyway, I won’t get into details, because it’s gross. I’m still not fully recuperated from the event, but I’m feeling better. While I was really sick I found that I couldn’t really do anything creative!!! I manged to take my pictures everyday, and write a little. Though fro the most part I couldn’t do anything really creative with them. So here’s what I was doing with my sick time. (warning there are a lot of videos in this post, and spoilers from the last episode of True Blood)
Watching movies:
After.Life – (Drama/Mystery/Thriller) This movie was so fucking weird! Also rather confusing, you really have to pay attention. it’s a about Annal (Christina Ricci) who wakes up in a funereal home with Eliot (Lian Neeson) a Mortician. She’s talking and walking, yet he tells her she’s dead. The question raised in this movie is, is she really dead or is she having trouble letting go? Her boyfriend Paul (Justin Long) is determined to find out! High Recommendation.
Dread (Drama/Horror/Thriller) Form the guy who made Hellraiser, this movie is a different level of insanity. When Quaid (Shaun Evans), a bad-boy haunted by his past, meets shy-boy Stephen (Jackson Rathbone) they almost immediately hit it off. Soon after meeting Quaid learns that Stephen too has his own past demons. With his obsession with fear increasing Quaid convinces Stephen to make a film for his dissertation documenting what other people dread most.High Recommendation.
The Fourth Kind (Mystery/Sci-Fi/Thiller) The scariest movie I’ve seen in awhile, why, because I believed it was real while I watched it. Though Now I’ve found out it’s a fake documentary. the movie is about alien abduction, and stars Milla Jovovich. Who is in half of the movie portraying Dr. Abigail Tyler. All the other scenes are recorded to look like a documentary, and seem very horrifying. Though Now I’m Just pissed off that they said it was based on something real, because I do believe in Aliens. Medium Recommendation.
Terminator Salvation – (Action/Adventure/Sci-Fi/Thriller) I LOVE this movie, because I adore most of the cast and love action packed movies!!! oh, don’t watch this movie if you haven seen the first one, there’s no point if you don’t understand the back story. This movie follows post apocalyptic Earth after Judgment day. John Conner (Christian Bale) is a Resistance Fighter in the on going war, and he struggles to keep the terminators at bay. Things get worse when he learns Skynet plains to murder his father Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin). Then there’s Marcus (Sam Worthington ♥), a man with no clue of present events. He befriends Kyle and together they fight the machines while searching for the Resistance. High Recommendation.
Along with those I watched some of my older favorites Pride & Prejudice and A Walk To Remember. They are both amazing sappy love stories. Also last night I watched a very emotional Lifetime movie called Gracie’s Choice.
Watching TV:
Daria – (Animation/Comedy) One of the best 90′s shows, it was created by MTV. I re-watched the first three season and some of the fourth. Daria follows a girl by the same name, she’s sarcastic, realistic, and fun to watch. High Recommendation.
Lie To Me – A show about people who can read lies on your face and in your body language. I fucking love this show. The main character, Dr. Lightman, is quite insane. Always entertaining!!! High Recommendation.
Skins – (Drama) I watched the entire first season. I love it, but I don’t know when I’ll get around to continuing the series. High Recommendation.
Favorite scene: (Spoilers for Skins first season finale)
True Blood – (Drama/Fantasy) Everyone knows about this show by now right? it’s about a telepathic waitress and a lot of other supernatural creature…mainly vampires.High Recommendation.
This made me happy!!! (Spoilers below from True Blood Season 3 episode 10 (I Smell A Rat), close your eyes and scroll down if you don’t want to see.)
Listening to Music: Love The Way You Lie by Eminem Ft. Rihanna I don’t usually like rap that much, but this song is amazing and so it the video!!!!
The Catalyst by Linkin Park I love anything by Linkin Park!!!
