Guess whos back?

Hello. It’s been a long time, but the site is up and with a new layout! Do you like it? It’s very simple, but I think it sings of Autumn. Autumn is my favorite season, and I’m also an Autumn baby. My Birthday is coming up on the 30th of October. I’ll be 21 years old! I know I’m supposed to go to bars and drink, but I don’t for see that happening. Even if I wanted to got to a bar with my friends I can’t, they are all a year younger than me. One of my best friends, Savannah, wanted to throw me a big party. Though I’m very introverted, and I wouldn’t know anyone she invited (they were all her friends). That’s okay though! Instead my three closest friends (Halie, Savannah, and Casey) and me will all do something. It ‘s going to be something small. I moved more into the mountains so I don’t get to see them much anymore. So I’d rather spend the time catching up on old times. Gay Pride is the day after Halloween, Halie and I are going together, I believe. Pride is always fun, until you meet a really hot gay guy, I’m just kidding. I love it there because everyone is so nice it’s like we’re all hippies, and just love each other. As for Halloween I have no idea if I’m doing anything. Sometimes I miss dressing up and going Trick or Treating. Something about Halloween is always just magical in a way, you know?

Moving on. So what have I been up to? Well, nothing really. I’m no longer employed with Hot Topic. It’s a long hateful story, but I’ll summarize. I was basically told that I could quite or work once a month. Why, because I have a learning disability that hindered me from running the register. SO I QUIT! It was really painful, because I had worked there for two years. The new manager didn’t like me for some reason though. My mother was really pissed off about it as well! I thought her head would explode! I’m now currently unemployed. This is a little annoying, but I’ll make it. I live with my parents, and that’s okay with me. Currently I’m just trying to write, but I’m having trouble concentrating. Though I think I’m doing pretty good, and hope to have a first draft done some time within the next few months. I’m also trying to get some of my poetry published, but it’s been a bitch. I wish more people read poetry. It’d make my life easier, and the world would appreciate the little things more. It annoys me that so many people can’t seem to understand poetry, and have a deep distaste for Shakespeare. I love Shakespeare! Though I’ve been told I have an old soul so maybe that’s why I understand him.

Other then my writing, let’s see, oh I was hired to do some wedding photography. It was my first wedding. It was exciting, and I was very nervous. Though the bride, who ironically is named Ashley, told me she loved the images. She is my moms best friends daughter. I haven’t taken as many pictures this year as I usually do. I think it’s because of a lack of inspiration, but I hope to get back into my photography. I have some ideas and hope I can bring them to life. Photography has always been a passion of mine, next to writing; it’s one of my favorite things to do. I’m hoping that in the coming year I will get back to being myself, and really work at the things I love.

After Christmas I plan on working to get into college. I’m not able to write now for a number of reasons. Though it’s looking like I will have to get a GED even though I “passed” through high school. It’s complicated, and goes back to my disability. WHATEVER, I can’t dwell on how “the system” screwed me over. The only thing to do is pick my lazy ass up and do something about it. That’s what I plan to do. Here’s to hoping I get there. Things will start looking up soon, I hope, I have to be optimistic. I learned a long time ago that pessimism doesn’t help me. This also helps:

Lets see what else have I done? I read all nine Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlene Harris in two weeks! That’s pretty good for me. I’m in love with the TV show True Blood, which is based on the novels. True Blood only comes on during the summer, and there are only twelve episodes!  So after the season ended I decided to read all the books. My favorite character is Eric (in the show played by Alexander Skarsgard, who is amazing!). Though I miss the show I’m glad my others shows are back on! I watch way to many shows. Other then that Edward (my eldest cat) turned one years old, and  I got a new kitty. His name is Jasper, I’ll put a picture up later. Sky (my doggie) will be turning six on Thanksgiving! This blog is getting way to long so I’ll cut to site info. Navigation will be down for a little bit, and I don’t think I’m making a visitor’s section. I might later on, but for now it’s not that important. I’m going to be talking about my writings a lot on this blog, as well as my other art projects. I hope this will help me keep up with some of my goals. Lastly, I’ll be looking for new affiliates. ONLY people with blogs who are interested in art of any form! Also you don’t have to be an artist yourself, but be very into art. From writing to painting to photography and more.
