Five more days gone…oops

Another five days without me updating, oops. I’ve just been really busy with things here. My niece recently just moved back in, and everything is hectic. I’ll explain more after I get done with this meme. It will be one loaded blog.

Day 19 | A talent of yours Photography
For those of you that have been here a few times, you know one of my talents is photography. You know this because I mention it as often as possible. Now, I in no way shape or form believe I am a fantastic photographer (partly because I’m not a fantastic photoshoper); nor do I necessarily believe it is my best talent. Now, it very well could be the best thing I do, but I have yet to decided what I’m strongest at. I can tell you that I’ve been experimenting with photography since the age of sixteen and it’s a big part of my life.

BTW, I’m thinking about making an ImageKind. It’s a website that allows me to sell mt prints with the money going into a paypal account. What do you guys think, would you buy any of my work?

Day 20 | A hobby of yours Writing
Writing for me isn’t necessarily a hobby, it’s actually another talent of mine. Though a hobby is something you do with your spare time and that induces relaxation. I write whenever I can,it usually take up a big part of my day. I decided to list this as the “hobby”, because I’ve never had anything published or shared my writings with the public. My photography is constantly shown to the public, that’s why i make it, but writing is a different story. I’m very paranoid about just showing my writing to anyone. I have tried to get some of my poetry published (which is a bitch BTW), but my main focus is finishing my book (which I’m editing now). I hope to put some writing on the web, but first I have to decide what. Because anything I post on here is pretty much invalid when it comes to publishing in a magazine (they won’t publish per-published works, especially with poetry). What I can tell you is that I’ve been writing since I was ten (10) years old. It’s such a part of me that I’m not sure I could live without it. I dabble in writing: poetry, prose, short-stories, novels, scripts, and probably a few others.

Day 21 | A recipe Strawberry Cream Cheese Delight
The recipe is from Cooks.com, I don’t have a personal one to share with you at this time. Not that I don’t have them, I just don’t know where they are at the moment. So check this on out here. It sure is yummy.

Day 22 | A website We Heart It

My Profile

We Heart It is possible my favorite “social” website. It allows you to bookmark inspirational (funny, beautiful, sarcastic, etc) images (and occasionally videos). I don’t know what it is about this site, but I spend more time on it then any other website. If you don’t have a profile here I highly suggest you get one, there are times images on this site can just change my day!

writing is a hobby of mine too i love going off into a fantasy world. its amazing

I think if you feel you’re at the point of making money with your photography then you should go for it. However, I don’t think you have to edit your pictures via photoshop to make them better. Back in high school my teacher told us that the best photographers are the ones that can take the simplest camera and take an amazing picture.

Your photography is cool. I know what you mean about how writing is a talent, I can sit down and write something in 2 minutes that would take most people hours. to even think of. I guess it helps if you have an overactive imagination.

Well, you already know I love both your photography and your writing, so I won’t repeat myself endlessly today, bwahaha.

And I think I’ve told you this before, but I’ve never really liked weheartit, either! To me it’s nothing but a social networking site based around Google Images or something, LOL. IDK, I’m just not a fan of something so basic, I suppose … I think that’s why I dislike Tumblr, as well! I’d rather read in detail about people’s days or lifes or events as opposed to just looking at random pictures that sort of explain what they’re going though at any given moment … IDK!

This is such an awesome blog project, though … I never woulda taken it on myself though, haha, only because I only blog once a week! XD;

I think selling your photography sounds like a good idea. Perhaps you could also try that at DeviantArt if you’re not already doing that? It’s the biggest art community online so you’ll reach out to a lot of people there.

Unfortunately I myself don’t buy photography nor any other art. Since I’m an artist I like to decorate my home with my own art pieces.
